Hair & Son is a long established firm of Estate Agents and Property Consultants located in Southend on Sea. The head office is located in London Road Southend and is home to the Property Management department, Commercial Agency team, Auction and Residential lettings. This office is overseen by Terence Hair MRICS. Grandson of the founder.

There are four residential sales offices serving the Borough headed up by Richard Hair PPNAEA (Honoured), also a grandson of the founder and a past president of the National Association of Estate Agents.

The Valuation and Survey department at the Leigh Broadway Office is run by the third partner David Plaskow FRICS who is also a specialist party wall surveyor and often appointed as Independent Expert in local cases.

Hair & Son was founded in 1922 by a Mr Edmunds and Frederick Gordon Hair and started trading as Edmunds & Hair. Shortly thereafter, Mr Edmunds left and the firm became known as Fredk. G Hair & Son.

There have been many changes to the Partnership over the last 86 years. The firm continues to enjoy a reputation for integrity, competence and innovation. Hair & Son LLP has become a major independent firm of Surveyors, Property Managers, Estate Agents, Valuers and Auctioneers employing a staff of over 80.
